Thoughts on Ryley Jacks? If he's not named I might just leave him but otherwise I assume there are no downgrade or similar price players. Ash Taylor any good?
From Peter Li
I think he's a sell, especially if he's named on the bench on Thursday (the Storm, Warriors, Roosters and Dragons have a couple of days to recover from their Anzac Day games before naming their Round 9 squads on Thursday afternoon). With both Cameron Munster and Billy Slater now fit there's no place in the Storm starting side for Jacks. What happened on Tuesday is the worst-case scenario for Jacks' Fantasy owners, with Craig Bellamy giving him just a few minutes off the bench at the end of the game and Jacks scoring two points. He'll start losing all the money he's made if that continues so I'd look to upgrade him if you can or downgrade – either to a non-player (generally not recommended this early in the season) or even one-time Fantasy flop Jaelen Feeney.
Of course if he misses the Storm 17 altogether his price won't change, meaning you could hold him in your squad for now.
I have Bodene Thompson but he doesn't seem to be hitting decent scores. Despite his cheap-ish price, is he worth a hold or is it best to bite the bullet and upgrade now? Hold Hess or Bodene basically?
From Daniel DeWildt
Bodene Thompson spent some time at centre to cover for Solomone Kata on Tuesday so that hurt his score, and the week before he spent 15 minutes on the sidelines with a HIA test. In fact, he's only played the full 80 minutes in his usual second-row role twice this season, and scored 51 and 59 in those games. I'd keep him.
I also reckon Hess is a probable hold – he does need attacking stats to get those big scores but he can be lethal close to the line so is capable of going big on any given day, especially when he's playing big minutes as a starting second-rower.
 Thompson Bodene - Warriors
I have $261k in the bank and stacked forwards. RTS and Dylan Walker are my only 'keepers' in my CTR/WFB positions. Should I use the money getting Tedesco, possibly for Suli, and maybe Hayne for Brian Kelly?
From Matthew Abela
Yep, sounds like good trades. Suli and Kelly have both pretty much peaked, Tedesco is a superstar and Hayne is a cash cow and potential keeper.
Is Hayne worth getting back in even though I already have Teddy, RTS, Slater and Ponga? Abbey is the other one I have back there.
From Matt Flanagan
You only need three genuine scorers in the winger/fullback spot plus a couple of cash cows so I wouldn't worry about getting Hayne if I was you. Ponga might drop out of the Cowboys line-up soon but you already have three potential keepers anyway.
 Brailey Jayden - Sharks
Is Brailey still a hold for the moment, at least until Segeyaro is back?
From Bryce Quigley
Yep. Jayden Brailey had a mediocre score on the weekend but hit 54 the week before, and with a break even of 26 he still has more money to make.
Is it worth it to pick up Andrew Fifita at this point or should I wait a week and get James Graham, than again Nathan Brown or Sam Burgess can help me through the bye weeks. I'm playing for overall points, who should I get?
From Isaac Bishop
For overall points, Sam Burgess and Nathan Brown are probably the standouts as both the Rabbitohs and Eels play in all three major bye rounds. Burgess is probably a better scorer long-term but Brown is in good form and better value at $452,000 (Burgess costs $497,000). After that, Graham's Bulldogs play in two major bye rounds (Round 12 & 18) while Fifita will probably play Origin so is a better buy later on.
